Plans to put up several warehouse units at a village north of Ipswich have been recommended for approval.
A planning application has been made to Mid Suffolk District Council to erect a series of warehouse units at Port One Business and Logistics Park in Great Blakenham.
The plans would be an extension to the business park, which is near Orion Business Park and off Bramford Road.
The application was made by Suffolk property developer Curzon De Vere.
The hybrid planning application includes full planning permission for three new warehouses on a site off the park, along with extending estate roads and new access for vehicles to the site, leading off Bramford Road.
The application also requested outline planning permission for the development of six further warehouse plots at the 101-acre site.
According to the plans, the site will be used for storage and distribution of goods, and the developments are expected to create 1,250 full-time employment positions.
Mid Suffolk's planning committee recommended granting the application on Wednesday, January 17.
