Emergency services were called to a building fire during the early hours in Ipswich.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in a bedroom in Heath Road at about 3.10am on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said crews used a hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation to tackle the blaze.
Suffolk police and the ambulance service were also called to the incident.
Two people suffered smoke inhalation and were left in the care of the ambulance service.
The location the fire broke out in Heath Road is unclear at this time.
