The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for winds that could reach up to 70mph across Suffolk on January 2.
From 8am tomorrow a spell a very windy weather is expected to hit the county until 9pm.
In coastal areas, such as Lowestoft and Aldeburgh, it is likely there will be 60mph gusts that could reach up to 70mph.

Inland gusts of 40 to 50mph are likely with a possible chance of 55 to 60mph gusts.
Some delays to road, rail, and ferry transport are likely and there is also the possibility of damaged or fallen trees.
Along the coast, there may be some large waves or spray which could cause flooding.
Power cuts across the region are also possible and the Met Office is advising people to be prepared by gathering torches and batteries, a mobile phone power pack and other essential items.
