New Year's Eve is a time to come together to reflect on days gone by and start thinking about what the future will bring.
It's a time we all unite, whether we are sitting at home counting down on the sofa or surrounded by friends and family at a party.

1. Venue 16

Bring in the New Year with food and entertainment under the twinkling lights of Venue 16.
The ticket includes canapes and a glass of bubbly on arrival and a two-course dinner with a cheeseboard.
Entertainment will be provided by The 66 Party Band and DJ Luke Driver.
2. Sunday Lunch at Hintlesham Golf Course
Where: George Street, Ipswich, IP8 3NS
Cost: £25 for two courses or £28 for three courses
With the last day of the year falling on a Sunday, one way to celebrate it is with the last roast dinner of 2023.
Enjoy a Sunday lunch at the clubhouse and choose from either two courses or three.
A complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz is also included.
3. New Year's Eve Gatsby Style
Where: Kesgrave Social Club, Edmonton Road, Kesgrave, IP5 1EE
Cost: £15 per person
Get out your canes, top hats and feather boas and start 2024 in Gatsby style.
Doors to the tricks of the trade open at 7pm.
Fancy dress is optional but encouraged.
4. Meditate to Midnight
Where: Ipswich Buddhist Centre, Friars Bridge Road, Ipswich, IP1 1RR
Cost: Free
Share the New Year with others in an atmosphere of reflection, contemplation, and awareness.
Starting at 7pm the event contains meditation, readings and festive tea breaks leading up to fireworks at midnight.
Snacks and nibbles can be brought but the event is alcohol-free.
5. Superbowl New Year's Eve Party
Where: Superbowl, Buttermarket Centre, St Stephens Lane, Ipswich, IP1 1DT
Cost: £22.99 per person
From 8am enjoy unlimited glow bowling and party music.
There will also be competitions, giveaways and prosecco at midnight.
Up to 10 people can bowl per lane and the event runs until 1am on New Year's Day.
