A major search and rescue mission has been launched to find a missing Ipswich man.
Police and Suffolk Lowland Search Rescue are in a car park off Yarmouth Road and carrying out searches to find Julian Debono.
Mr Debono was last seen in Yarmouth Road at about 1.45am on Sunday.
He is believed to be heading towards London Road.
Mr Debono has been described as a black man, around 6ft 1ins, as having a receding hair line, with a trimmed grey and black beard.
He was last seen wearing a white lace shirt with cherry red trousers and high shine black shoes.
An eyewitness said they saw searchers using canoe's to search parts of the River Gipping.
Anyone who has any information is being asked to contact Suffolk police on 101.
