Two men have been released on bail as police continue to question a teenage female in connection with the death of a newborn baby in Ipswich.
Emergency services swooped on Wilbury House in Norwich Road at about 12.35pm on Saturday.
A murder probe was launched on Saturday afternoon after police confirmed they had found the body of a newborn baby.
Officers arrested two men aged in their 30s and a teenage female on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.
On Sunday police were granted a further 21 hours to question the suspects after a warrant of further detention was granted by Suffolk Magistrates' Court.
The two men have been released on bail until Tuesday, February 6, pending further enquiries, while the female currently remains in police custody for questioning as she arrived at Martlesham police station at a later time than the men.
A small police scene remains in place within the property on Norwich Road.
Detectives are treating this as an isolated incident but understand the concern this will have caused in the local area.
Residents will continue to see an increased police presence, including uniformed officers. Members of the public are encouraged to approach officers and discuss any concerns they may have.
Anyone with any information is being asked to contact the Major Investigation Team, quoting the crime reference 71043/23.
