Suffolk police have issued an appeal after reports of a dog attack in an Ipswich park last month.
On Thursday, November 23 at around 1.15pm a dog owner who was walking their French Bulldog through the park by King Edward Road (Murray Road Park) was attacked by what is believed to be a German Shepherd.
The dog had been released from its lead by a male dog-walker and raced over to the French Bulldog, which it started jumping on.

It then jumped at the Bulldog's owner.
Due to the muzzle on the German Shepherd, neither the dog or the owner was bitten or injured, but Suffolk police has now issued an appeal in an attempt to track down the owner of the dog responsible for the attack.
Anyone who knows the dog owner should contact Suffolk police quoting crime reference 37/68175/23.
