A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after an incident at the Port of Ipswich.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to the West Bank terminal in Wherstead Road at about 11am.
A man was injured in an accident, a spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed.
"One ambulance, one ambulance officer vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to West Bank Terminal, Ipswich, this morning following reports of man injured in an accident," the spokesman said.
"One patient was flown to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious injuries."
A spokesman for Associated British Ports, which runs the Port of Ipswich, added: "We are aware of an incident that occurred today, Monday 11 December, on the West Bank at the Port of Ipswich. ABP have been assisting relevant authorities, including the arrival of the Air Ambulance with their response.”
