Two days on since a murder probe was launched after the body of a newborn baby was found in Ipswich, here is everything we know so far.
Police were called to reports of an incident in Wilbury House in Norwich Road on Saturday.
What time were police called to Wilbury House?
Emergency services were alerted to an incident in Norwich Road at about 12.35pm on Saturday.
Was there a police cordon in place?
A number of police units, as well as forensics investigators, were spotted at the scene.
A large police cordon was put in place shortly after police arrived and remained in place throughout the day.
It was still there the following morning.
The building was surrounded with a heavy emergency service presence, including a police dog unit, an eyewitness said.
Have any arrests been made?
Two men and a female have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident and were taken into police custody for questioning.
On Sunday evening, Suffolk police confirmed detectives had applied for a warrant of further detention at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court.
Officers were granted an additional 21 hours to question the suspects.
This is due to expire on Monday evening.
What have police said about the incident?
Suffolk police has said the death of the baby is being treated as unexplained and is under investigation.
A post-mortem examination to establish the cause of death and formal identification procedures will take place in due course.
Detective Chief Superintendent Jane Topping, of Suffolk police, said: “This is a very sad and distressing incident and, at this time, our investigation into the circumstances surrounding the baby’s death is in its early stages.
“I would urge people not to speculate on social media as to the circumstances of this tragic event.”
How has the community reacted to the news?
People living near to Wilbury House spoke about their shock and sadness after police launched the murder probe.
A neighbour, 70, said he was lost for words upon hearing a baby had been found dead.
He added: "What can you say? This is devastating.
"Whatever can you say? I’ve been born and bred in this town. I’ve never heard of anything like this.
"I will go home now and it will bring tears to my eyes. I’m a parent. My god. I just don’t know what to say. That child could have grown up and had children."
Colin Kreidewolf, who represents Westgate ward on Ipswich Borough Council, said the incident is a "tragic event for Ipswich".
He said he did not know any details about the incident, but said he understood the property was a "multi-purpose accommodation" – though he did not know who was living there.
Mr Kreidewolf added: "Of course, it is a really tragic situation if a newly-born baby is found in these circumstances and something that concerns us all when you hear of this kind of event."
