Parts of the A12 will be closed overnights while urgent roadworks are carried out.
According to Suffolk County Council's website lane closures on both carriageways will be in place between 9pm and 5am from Wednesday to Friday this week.
Closures will be in place near the Capel St Mary turn off.
While the closures are in place National Highways will be carrying out repairs to the central reservation and nearby fences.
