The Ipswich Weekender returns for the final time this year, with festive activities and events happening around the town over four days.
The Ipswich Christmas Weekender starts on Thursday, December 7, and finishes on Sunday, December 10.
On Thursday, December 7, from 5pm-8pm, the Christmas creatives market will be pitching up on the Cornhill, with businesses selling handmade products.
The event will also feature the Busketeers Choir, singing Christmas tunes, and street performer Icycle King Juggler.
Elsewhere in the town, Brighten The Corners and St Stephen's Church will host a DJ night from 5pm, with a licenced bar and the opening of their Hex Record Shop.
The Ancient House will open its doors over the weekend, with independent makers, artists and traders inside.
A pixel wall will also be on the Cornhill on Thursday and Saturday displaying public festive messages, which can be filled out here.
Ipswich County Library will host a Christmas party on December 9 from 1pm-4pm where children can visit the Christmas grotto.
Ipswich School of Dancing will perform shows on the Cornhill, as well as Pop Chorus, and there will also be a Dickensian Christmas by Candlelight event at the Black Horse Inn on Sunday from 12pm-10pm.
There are also two reindeer activities around the town, spotting Sammy the Reindeer through an interactive AR projection on the Cornhill and Lloyds Avenue, and an on-foot trail, hunting for letters in shop windows.
Councillor Neil MacDonald, Ipswich Borough Council leader, said: "Our Christmas Ipswich Weekender is packed with entertainment, lots of which is free, for people of all ages to enjoy.
"As the fourth and final Weekender of 2023, this series of events have proven to be successful in enhancing the experiences of our businesses, visitors, and communities and highlighting all the fantastic amenities the town centre has to offer."
