An Ipswich cinema is set to be rebranded as part of a £22million investment.
Empire Cinema in the Buttermarket Shopping Centre will become Omniplex from December 8, after the Irish chain acquired the site.
The Empire Cinema Group fell into administration earlier this year, with six sites closing with immediate effect.
Ipswich's branch remained open despite the collapse.
It will now continue to trade under its new name, as 150 jobs are saved as part of the £22.5million expansion into Great Britain by Ireland's largest cinema company.
Paul John Anderson, director of the Omniplex Cinema Group said: "We are thrilled to bring an Omniplex Cinema to Ipswich and cannot wait to welcome movie enthusiasts through our doors.
"From the latest blockbusters to timeless classics, we look forward to creating unforgettable moments for our new customers.”
Omniplex first opened its doors in 1991 and now operates first 38 sites.
Former Empire cinemas in Birmingham, Sutton, Clydebank and High Wycombe have also been saved as part of the deal.
The cinema inside the Buttermarket first opened in 2017.
