A man had to be rescued by the Coastguard after his boat became stranded in mud.
Emergency services were called to Pin Mill, south of Ipswich on the Shotley peninsula, at about 3.50pm on Saturday after reports that a person was stuck.
Coastguard rescue teams, as well as the RNLI and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, were all in attendance.
A spokesman for Holbrook Coastguard Rescue Team said: "Although the tide had just turned, we determined it would still be some time before the boat was able to float and so the man, who was already cold, would be best rescued over the mud."
The man was rescued and handed into the care of the East of England Ambulance Service.
