As the nights are drawing in earlier, what better way is there to spend your time than wrapping up warm and exploring the magical light trails around Suffolk?
With November nearing its end, several illuminated experiences have started opening for the Christmas period.
Here are some of those happening in Suffolk.
1. Helmingham Hall Illuminated Light Trail
Cost: £22 for adults and £11 for children
The Helmingham Hall light trail will launch on Thursday, November 16, and the event will run every day of the week until Sunday, December 17.
Sound and lighting displays will showcase the different areas of the trail and areas of the hall's facade will also feature, including the moat.
2. Ickworth Park Light Nights
Cost: £11.50 for adult and £9.50 for child
The evening event will see the canopies of trees, Italianate ever-greens, and a gothic Victorian-esque stumpery brightly lit.
Visitors to the evening events will be able to have a hot drink at the West Wing Café, which will be opening late throughout November.
3. Christmas on the Hills, Seckford
Cost: £11 per person
Christmas on the Hills is coming back to Seckford this winter as the dates have been released for the illuminated light trail.
From December 14 to 23 the hills around Seckford will be transformed into an immersive illuminated experience.
Festive characters will line the light trail, which will culminate in a special visit to Santa Claus, who will give all of the children on the trail a complimentary gift.
4. Trinity Lights, Ipswich
Cost: £12.95 for adults and £7.95 for children
New for this year is Trinity Lights, an interactive light trail across the grounds of the park.
The trail is available to visit from December 15 to December 23.
