Part of a major Ipswich road could be closed for two weeks after it has started to sink.
Foxhall Road was closed by Suffolk Highways, near Derby Road, on Monday for safety reasons.
According to the Suffolk County Council an emergency road closure until Tuesday, December 5 has been granted while the works are carried out.
The road closure could be lifted early if the works are completed sooner.
The emergency works are being carried out by Anglian Water who has been approached for a comment.
