There were long delays on the A14, near Ipswich, after police were called to a three-vehicle crash.
Officers were alerted to the crash in the eastbound carriageway near Sproughton at about 7.45am on Tuesday.
An eyewitness said police have closed one lane of the carriageway.
It comes after the A14 was closed in both directions following a serious two-vehicle crash on Monday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said no injuries have been reported and the road has since reopened.
