A 44-year-old man has been charged following an incident in Ipswich town centre which saw a suspected imitation firearm seized.
Officers were called to the Lloyds Avenue area at just after 9am on Wednesday after reports that a man had been seen putting an alleged firearm in his pocket.
A man was arrested at the scene after officers seized an imitation firearm.
Christopher Hill, 44, and of no fixed abode, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm.
He was due to appear at Suffolk Magistrates' Court on November 16.
