Plans are being made to turn empty offices near the town centre into an upstairs flat.
An application has been made to Ipswich Borough Council to change the use of a building in Great Colman Street into both commercial and residential use.
The floorplans show proposals to convert the upper first and second floors from offices and associated storage, kitchen, and bathrooms, into a two-bedroom flat.
The flat, split over two floors, would include a hallway, kitchen, and living room area on the first floor of the building, and two bedrooms, dressing room, and bathroom on the second floor.
The ground floor would be maintained as offices with bathroom and utility area.
The plans would also involve removing the flat roof, currently over a hallway on the ground floor, to create an outdoor yard area for bin and bicycle storage, with plans to create two cycle spaces.
The currently vacant commercial offices used to house Fine and Country, Halls and Halls, and IP1 Lettings and Property Management.
