Work has started at a new Five Guys burger restaurant which will open its doors in Ipswich next year.
Plans for the American chain's second Suffolk branch were unveiled in September when jobs for the site, in the former Dough & Co at Cardinal Park, were listed on Indeed.
Now, railings have been put up surrounding the building with the Five Guys logo on them.
A Five Guys spokesperson revealed earlier this week that the new eatery will open in the spring of 2024.
Ipswich Borough Council received plans for a new restaurant, in the former Dough&Co at Cardinal Park, last month.
Plans include alterations to the shop front with new Five Guys signage.
Inside, the restaurant would be able to sit 72 covers, as well as a further 28 outside.
There would also be two drink stations and a pick up area, as well four toilets.
It would become the fourth restaurant operating at Cardinal Park, joining Nando's, Subway and Ask Italian.
Suffolk's other Five Guys restaurant can be found at the Fiveways roundabout at Barton Mills, near Mildenhall.
