A new Five Guys burger restaurant will open its doors in Ipswich next year, it has been confirmed.
Plans for the American chain's second branch in Suffolk were revealed in September afters jobs for the site in Cardinal Park were listed in Indeed.
Five Guys revealed it was hoping to open the restaurant by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
A spokesman for the burger giant has now confirmed the new eatery will open in spring next year.
Ipswich Borough Council received plans for a new restaurant, in the former Dough&Co at Cardinal Park, last month.
The chain is seeking to make alterations to the shop front, including adding new signage.
Inside, the restaurant would be able to sit 72 covers, as well as a further 28 outside.
There would also be two drink stations and a pick up area, as well four toilets.
It would become the fourth restaurant operating at Cardinal Park, joining Nando's, Subway and Ask Italian.
Another Five Guys restaurant can be found at the Fiveways roundabout at Barton Mills, near Mildenhall.
