A teenage boy has been treated in Kesgrave this morning following reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
Emergency services have confirmed the pedestrian involved in a collision outside Heath Primary School was a teenager.
An ambulance was also called to the scene and the boy was deemed not to have any serious injuries.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "An ambulance was sent to the scene and assessed the boy, who did not require transportation to hospital and was discharged into the care of his family."
According to the emergency services, the car was travelling at a slow speed.
The road was blocked for a short while due to the incident and commuter traffic but has now been cleared.
