The time it takes for a home to sell in Ipswich and the surrounding area has been revealed in a new study.
House-buying firm Property Solvers has ranked on average how many weeks it takes for a property to sell by looking at data from listings across the town and in Suffolk.
Experts analysed recent sales logged on HM Land Registry in postcodes across Ipswich and their "speed of sale".
Looking at 13 properties, IP6 was the fast-selling postcode in the area with an average of 102 days, or just over three months.
Both IP1 and IP3 postcodes were the next fastest, with an average of 126 days to sell.
Properties in IP2 took the longest to sell with an average of 134 days, or just under four-and-a-half-months.
Ruban Selvanayagam of Property Solvers said: "The property market is certainly in a different place relative to a couple of years ago.
"The continued pressures on the mortgage sector and buyers' ability to secure the right kind of finance has resulted in delays with sales completing."
"Combined with the recognised 'snail pace' nature of the conveyancing process, it's likely that these trends are likely to remain for some time."
