A world-renowned musical is among a number of shows set to premiere at an Ipswich theatre next spring.
The New Wolsey Theatre has announced its spring 2024 season, including the Little Shop of Horrors.
A new production of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken’s hit musical will head to the theatre on March 1 and March 23, before embarking on a national tour.
Prior to that, a production of Romeo & Juliet will feature as the first show of the year between February 1 and February 9.
Directed by the theatre's chief executive and creative director Douglas Rintoul, the adaptation of the Shakespeare classic will feature emerging talent from around Ipswich.
Later in the year will see a play written by award-winning Ipswich playwright Martha Loader performed at the theatr make its world premiere.
Bindweed focuses on the lives of four men convicted of domestic abuse offences taking part in a perpetrator programme, and will premiere at the theatre on June 1.
