More dressing rooms are among the new facilities at Ipswich's biggest theatre now open for stars visiting and performing at the venue.
Stars at the Ipswich Regent Theatre will benefit from a new backstage area following the completion of extension works.
The new modular building behind the theatre features additional dressing rooms, catering facilities and wardrobe space.
The unit has been built on part of the car park with a link to the main building.
It was officially opened by Ipswich Mayor, Lynne Mortimer, and the building is set to be used this weekend.
Councillor Sophie Connelly, Ipswich Borough Council portfolio holder for culture and customers, said: "We're excited to officially open Ipswich Regent Theatre's new facilities for stage stars and production companies visiting Ipswich on tour.
"This new backstage space ensures we can provide additional dressing space, welfare facilities and some modern comforts to support a fantastic show.
"As the largest theatre in East Anglia, we know that improving our facilities means we can accommodate shows with bigger casts, and we look forward to welcoming them."
