Two Ipswich men who were involved in an attack on a man in the town centre will be sentenced in December.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday for a plea hearing via a prison video link were Noel Clarke, 53, of Bond Street, Ipswich, and Ali Todd, 33, of Lower Brook Street, Ipswich.
Clarke admitted wounding a man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm on September 22 this year while Todd admitted assaulting the same man causing him actual bodily harm on the same date.
The court heard that Clarke has 266 previous convictions.
Judge Martyn Levett adjourned sentence until the week commencing December 18 for pre-sentence reports to be prepared on the men, who are both in custody.
