Ipswich tattoo artists are offering free baby footprint tattoos to help families that have experienced baby loss.
Paul Stansby and Jamie Hart, the founders of Lucky 13 Tattoo Studio, said they wanted to host the event to help people who lost their babies heal and “push for tomorrow”.
They added: “Several of us at Lucky 13 Tattoo Studio have suffered from baby loss.
“When we were able to mark the yearly occasion, it seemed like there wasn’t much effort in helping others in grief.
“This made us wonder what we could do to help others. We thought that a tattoo could be a life memory of those we lost.
“It would be morally wrong to financially gain in someone's hour of need, so the tattoos will be made free of charge.
“We know the pain of losing someone is a lifetime, but we hope this can help with the healing process.”
The event in aid of baby loss awareness will take place on Monday, October 30, between 8am and 8pm at the Lucky 13 Tattoo Studio on St Margaret's Street.
Paul Stansby also recorded a podcast called 'Living with baby loss'.
The owners of the Lucky 13 Tattoo Studio have been helping to install more than 30 bleed control kits around Ipswich.
