Plans for a new two-bedroom house in Manchester Road, Ipswich, have been given the green light.
The new home will be built on land currently occupied by two garages, between the flats at numbers 33 to 43 and the semi-detached house at number 45.
A design and access statement prepared by architects at Sinclair Studios showed that the home will have two car parking spaces, one at the front of the property and one at the back. There will also be space to store bicycles at the rear of the property.
The statement said that comments from the council about a previous, similar application submitted in July last year have been taken on board. These plans allotted more front garden space to the property, in keeping with the rest of the street.
The ground floor will have a combined kitchen and dining area, a living room and a downstairs toilet. A bathroom and both of the bedrooms will be located on the first floor.
Ipswich Borough Council approved these plans on October 6.
