A police investigation has been launched after a man was left in a critical condition following a serious house fire in Ipswich.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to the serious blaze in Macaulay Road at about 8.15pm on Wednesday.
A man in his 40s, who was inside the house at the time, has suffered serious burns and has been taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
He is currently in a critical condition.
Suffolk police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service are working to determine the cause of the fire.
