The opening of an indoor inflatable fun park in a former Ipswich nightclub has been delayed.
Work on the Inflata Nation play park in Cardinal Park finally got underway in August, more than a year after plans were first submitted to Ipswich Borough Council.
It was due to open inside the former Unit 17 nightclub in time for the October half-term break, but the opening date has now been delayed.
"Our exciting new site in Ipswich is now due to open its doors in December," said Inflata Nation co-founder Matt Ball.
"We’re doing something a bit special with this inflatable arena so there’s a lot of research and development work needed to get the product right.
"We can’t wait to reveal the details - it will be worth the wait."
Inflata Nation operates eight other sites, including in Birmingham, Manchester and Peterborough.
The new site will create about 35 part-time jobs.
Unit 17 closed its doors in April 2022 after 23 years in Ipswich due to circumstances "beyond" the management's control.
