Plans to open a new Taco Bell restaurant in Ipswich have been delayed.
The new fast-food restaurant was expected to be open by the summer, however the opening has been pushed back.
The site of the former Carphone Warehouse has been sat empty since December 2021, with plans for Taco Bell to move in given the green light last August.
In August job adverts for a store manager appeared on Indeed for the new store.
Posts for a full-time shift leader and full-time team member have also been advertised.
Renovation work on the new restaurant located at the Retail Anglia Parkway South has started.
A spokesman for Taco Bell said: "Unfortunately, we don’t have anything we can share just now, but we are opening lots of new restaurants so hopefully there will be something new soon."
It is understood that the restaurant will open early next year.
