The owner of Nourish Café has been left feeling 'upset beyond words' after the eatery was broken into during the night.
The café will be closed today, October 4, while the owner of the cafe waits for the police to investigate the premises following a suspected burglary.
The incident was announced by Nourish this morning on social media.
In a post, the business said: 'It is with great sadness to report that Nourish has been burgled overnight.
'I am so upset beyond words that someone would do this.
'Unfortunately, as we await the Police, the cafe will be closed today.
'If anyone has any information please make contact.'
The café opened its premises in Newbourne in 2019 and has been a popular hub for the local community since.
Anyone with information about the burglary should contact Suffolk police.
