“Cooking and sharing really good food is our love language,” said the owners of Ipswich's new brunch spot.
Chefs Gabrielle Bloomfield and Surrey Rogers have joined forces to create Good Inside Social, a restaurant that focuses on food that can be shared with your friends and loved ones.
The venue, located on St Margaret's Green, opposite Christchurch Park, serves anything from snacks to seasonal brunches and sharing boards.
Surrey and Gabrielle said they have both been “running on adrenaline” since they opened on Friday (September 29).
Surrey added: “Everyone has been very supportive. All of our family and friends are visiting us, as well as residents who walk by and want to try our dishes.
“The word is spreading, which is great.
“Our goal in this business is simple; we just love cooking good food and sharing it with others.
“We’d like to invite the local community to join us for brunch or supper as well as during workshops and other events that will be soon happening at Good Inside Social.”
The owners said that the food served in the restaurant is all homemade and cooked from carefully selected ingredients.
Gabrielle, the founder of Bagel Club, added that she is “mega excited” to be able to serve her own dishes and bagels at Good Inside Social.
Surrey, who also offers a private dining experience at The Good Supper, links her artistic soul with a love for cooking, bringing together a variety of cuisines that she loves to cook and eat.
The brunch restaurant is pet-friendly and is open between 10 am and 2 pm, and 5 pm and 9.30 pm from Thursday to Saturday, as well as between 10 am and 4 pm on Sunday and Monday.
Surrey and Gabrielle also support the local movement Ipswich.love.
