An Ipswich library has reopened two weeks after its roof collapsed during repair works.
Gainsborough Library, in Clapgate Lane, was forced to shut on September 14 after the ceiling collapsed in the staff area.
Emergency repair works were carried out on the building before it could reopen to the public.
A spokesman for Suffolk Libraries said: "We’re pleased to say Gainsborough Library is open again today after some emergency internal repair work.
"We will only be able to offer limited services today (Thursday), so are asking customers to bear with us but we will be open more fully with activities etc resuming from tomorrow/Friday.
"We apologise to customers for any inconvenience during the closure and thank everyone for their patience whilst the work was carried out."
