Ipswich families took part in a street market hosted in the town centre as a part of the Wolsey 550 celebrations.
St Peter's Street hosted the Saints Heritage Fayre to mark Thomas Wolsey's 550th birthday and Ipswich's Heritage Open Days on Sunday.
The event was run alongside a food, drink and craft market organised by Suffolk Market Events in Cutler Street.
Cathy Frost, the owner of Loveone and one of the organisers of the street market, said: "The Heritage Fayre is a new event for the Saints. We have collaborated with Suffolk Market Events, who will be bringing their farmers market.
"We also had craft demonstrations and a chance to meet Henry VIII, the six wives, and Cardinal Wolsey.
"With the Hold bringing their mobile Wolsey 550 exhibition, we hope it was a chance to learn something about our Tudor Heritage in and around the Saints.
"Many interesting buildings are open over the weekend as part of the national Heritage Open Days for visitors to enjoy.
"Some of these buildings are on the Saints."
Ms Frost added that events such as the Heritage Fayre support Ipswich's independent business community.
"It helps to showcase the breadth of creative, cultural and historical elements of Ipswich," she added.
The event was organised in partnership with Wolsey 550, Ipswich Borough Council, Ipswich Central and Ipswich Society.
