There were severe delays on the A14 near Ipswich after a three-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the crash in the westbound carriageway near the Copdock Interchange at about 2.30pm on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said that one car had collided with the central reservation.
No serious injuries have been reported but the carriageway was blocked.
According to the AA Traffic Map there was severe delays in the approach.
