A well-known BBC Radio 2 presenter will join a Suffolk hospital radio station this weekend to broadcast to patients in hospital.
Sally Boazman, who presents the traffic bulletins on the weekend shows, is switching up her role to join Hospital Radio Ipswich this Sunday (September 10).
The station, which broadcasts to patients in Ipswich and Aldeburgh hospitals, will host the guest alongside Breakfast presenter Rick Double, with the programme airing between 8am and 10am.
Sally is better known to thousands of radio listeners as Sally Traffic on BBC Radio Suffolk.
These days she lives in Suffolk and Rick intends to talk to her about her love of the county, as well as how the travel reports are put together and some of the famous people she has met through her job at the BBC.
The programme can be heard by patients at hospital bedsides on the Hospedia unit on Channel 1, or by anyone by streaming the radio on www.hri.org.uk.
The presenter reunited earlier this year with a portrait of herself created by Suffolk artist Roman Benjamin at Eastern Frames in Haughley near Stowmarket.
