A road closure that is blocking a busy Ipswich road is to be lifted this weekend.
Suffolk County Council has been carrying out roadworks in Handford Road since Monday, August 14.
The road closure is expected to be lifted on Saturday.
Works to install a new manhole over the existing foul drain and connection to a new development have been taking place while the road has been closed.
