A 15-year-old who is the first to complete a new maths programme did so in style by scoring nearly perfect marks in two of his GCSEs.
Aaditya Sharma finished the Kumon Maths Programme in Ipswich this year and learned today he had achieved 9s across the board.
He has been attending the Kumon Ipswich Central Centre since he was just four.
In addition to all 9s, the highest grade you can get, the teenager scored 79/80 for his non-calculator maths paper, and 79/80 for one of his further maths papers.
The 15-year-old said: "I feel satisfied with my progress and elated with my achievement.
"My family are very proud of what I have done, for both my perseverance through all stages and for my determination to see the Kumon Maths Programme through to completion.
"My next immediate goal is to take what I have learned from Kumon into my A-levels as, having recently completed my GCSEs, I’m looking forward to starting my sixth-form studies.
"All of this will help me as I am planning to pursue a career in medicine."
