Work has started to transform a former bar on Falcon Street near Ipswich town centre.
The former New York Exchange Bar closed a few years ago just after the pandemic, and has been vacant ever since.
Workers were seen going in and out of the store, with covered windows, but the door wide open with tools and boxes inside.
It is unknown at this time what the space will be used for.
