There is good news for theatre lovers as two huge West End shows are set to come to Ipswich in 2024.
Come From Away is a globally acclaimed musical that is embarking on its first-ever tour of the UK and Ireland.
Fresh from the West End - where is performed over 1,000 live performances - this musical will take to the stage in Ipswich for five shows from July 2 to 6.
The show chronicles the 7,000 air passengers around the world who were grounded following the 9/11 New York terrorist attack.
The second show set to come to Ipswich next year is An Officer and a Gentleman The Musical and will be performing five shows from September 10 to 14.
Based on the iconic 1982 film featuring Richard Gere, this jukebox musical features music from Madonna, Bon Jovi and Cyndi Lauper.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, August 25, via ipswichtheatres.co.uk, and those hoping to see the hit shows will have to get in quickly to avoid disappointment.
