Harwich RNLI worked with the Coastguard rescue helicopter to rescue an injured wind farm worker 20 miles offshore.
The relief all-weather lifeboat (ALB) was launched just before 3pm on Sunday, August 20.
It followed reports to the Coastguard regarding an engineer who had substained facial injuries whilst working at the Gabbard Wind Farm, situated 20 miles off Felixstowe.
The main objective of the lifeboat was to provide medical aid to the engineer who was onboard the windfarm vessel SeaCat Liberty.
The worker was air lifted from the vessel by the Coastguard helicopter and transported to Ipswich Hospital.
