The Met Office has issued the warning for the whole county which is in place 8am on Friday until 5am on Saturday.
A spokesman for the Met Office said that people should expect a very heavy downpour and up to 20mm of rainfall an hour accompanied by thunder, and lightning.
According to the warning there is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes or hail.
