More tickets are on sale for a huge Ipswich music festival next year after super early bird tickets sold out in less than a day.
Brighten the Corners Festival has announced its return in 2024 on Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15.
The organisers have just released a limited number of early bird weekend tickets at a cheaper price.
The two-day multi-venue festival took over Ipswich town centre on Friday and Saturday, June 9 and 10, 2023, with a variety of artists playing across five venues, including The Smokehouse, The Baths, St Stephen’s Church, the Corn Exchange and the free-to-attend Cornhill stage.
The same venues will return for 2024.
Joe Bailey, chief executive of Brighten the Corners Festival, said: "We’re really excited to announce the dates for the 2024 edition of Brighten the Corners and to have early bird tickets on sale this far in advance.
"We’re still digesting the huge success of this year’s event. There were so many stand out artists and performances over the weekend, and it has been amazing speaking to festival goers post-event and learning that so many people had different highlight moments.
"We can’t wait to start programming for next year and make this a yearly event for our town.
"To have super early bird tickets sell out in 12 hours was absolutely surreal. Our team is so grateful for the support we’ve received, and we can't wait to return in 2024."
Hindustani psychedelic rock band Karma Sheen, an audience favourite, said after this year’s event: "There is simply nothing quite like Brighten the Corners Festival.
"Its unique atmosphere, diverse lineup, and overall energy of the event created an electrifying environment that we were honoured to be part of.
"The festival provided a platform for artists to shine and connect with music lovers from all walks of life."
