A police cordon is in place after an Ipswich jewellers was broken into.
Officers were called to the break-in at Andrews Jewellers in St Stephens Lane near the Buttermarket at about 3.40am on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers are still at the scene and investigations are ongoing.
A police cordon remains in place and a shop window has been smashed.
An eyewitness said that a police car and two police officers were at the scene.
It is not yet clear if anything was stolen.
