Friends and family have taken to the pitch during a successful and competitive afternoon of fundraising in memory of a murdered Ipswich teenager.
The match, played between Tavis XI and Stowmarket United, was hosted last Sunday, July 30, to remember Tavis Spencer-Aitkens, campaign against knife crime and raise money for a bleed control kit.
Tavis was only 17 when he was attacked by five teenagers and stabbed to death just yards from his home on the Nacton estate five years ago on June 2, 2018.
Aristote Yenge, 23, Adebayo Amusa, 20, Isaac Calver, 19, Callum Plaats, 23, and Kyreis Davies, 17, were convicted of killing Tavis after he was stabbed 15 times and jailed for a total of more than 100 years.

Sunday's event raised £480 which will go towards a new bleed control kit in Ipswich.
The fundraising closes next week. Support it here.
It was the third match organised in memory of the 17-year-old.
Dean Forbes, one of the event organisers, said: "The event turned out to be a very well organised day, with people coming to support this great cause.
"I couldn’t thank them enough for coming to show their support and remember Tavis.
"Also, a huge ‘thank you’ to Hadleigh United Football Club for letting us use the facilities and setting up the food.
"Both sets of teams played a very competitive match, but Tavis Xi won this year's trophy.
"I just want to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who attended on the day and donated. It really means a lot."
The event included a crossbar challenge and a penalty shootout for all ages.
Five years after the murder of Tavis, his heartbroken mother Sharon Box said she hopes that lessons have been learned from his "senseless" killing.
