A 33-year-old man accused of assaulting an Ipswich woman and damaging her clothing will not face trial until next October due to a backlog of cases.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday (July 27) was Dedu Dragos, of Arden Crescent, Dagenham.
He pleaded not guilty to one offence of assault causing actual bodily harm, four offences of assault by beating, non-fatal strangulation and damaging a dress and pyjama top belonging to the alleged victim.

The offences are alleged to have been committed between September 18 last year and January 30 this year.
Dragos’ trial is expected to take place during a warned list the week commencing October 7 2024 and a further case management hearing will take place on September 24 next year.
Dragos is on conditional bail.
