A group of travellers have pitched up at a park and ride site on the outskirts of Ipswich. 

The encampment was seen at Copdock Park and Ride site on Tuesday. 

Suffolk County Council has been made notified of the group. 

“We have been made aware of an unauthorised encampment at Copdock Park and Ride," a spokesperson said.

"The Norfolk and Suffolk Gypsy and Roma Traveller service will be visiting the site today and liaising with all parties concerned.”

There has been a number of reports across the county.

An encampment was seen at The Stevenson Centre in Great Cornard, while travellers were also reported at the Whitehouse Asda in Ipswich.
