Felixstowe has been named one of the UK's best commutable coastal towns by a national newspaper.
The Telegraph has revealed its list of the best towns on the coast to commute from - with Felixstowe making the cut.
The resort, with its award-winning beach with Blue Flag status, is just a short journey by train or car to Ipswich.
Writers pointed to the port town for being an "all-year-round functioning town" due to its industrial work and history.
Felixstowe's four-mile stretch of beach was highlighted as its most beautiful feature, while experts also recognised the foodie scene in the local area and the number of 'good' rated schools.
"Old Felixstowe is typically the side of town which commuting buyers flock to," Sharnie Rogers of Strutt & Parker told the newspaper.
"Set along the coast to the north, it's away from the more touristy spots around the main pier and the main beach, but it is still quick into town and an easy walk to the train station."
