All aboard the world's last seagoing paddle steamer, which is set to sail from Ipswich later this year.
The Waverley Paddle Steamer has released its planned routes for the summer and autumn and has announced two trips from Suffolk towns.
On Saturday, September 23 the 76-year-old boat is set to depart from Ipswich for the first time in over two decades, according to the Waverley Excursions website.
Passengers should expect to embark on their journey from Ipswich at 10.15am. The route will travel along the River Orwell and under the Orwell Bridge.
The boat is set to stop at Harwich and Clacton, revealing the lovely Suffolk and Essex coastline, before heading along the Thames Estuary to Tower Bridge, arriving at 8pm.
Then, on Wednesday, September 27, the paddle steamer will make a similar journey from Southwold.
This announcement follows a successful 2022 season, in which the paddle steamer ran several trips between Southwold and Tower Bridge.
The boat has full catering facilities, a tea bar and traditional period lounges.
Tickets are available via the Waverley Excursions website.
