A new Poundland store at Copdock Mill Interchange will open later than expected.
Plans for the new shop on the retail park just outside of Ipswich were unveiled in March.
It was due to open to the public by the end of June, but has now deen delayed.
A spokesman for Poundland said: "We’re working hard on plans to open towards the beginning of September."
The store is expected to be one of the largest in Suffolk.
